Like a smartphone, nowadays most tablets have settled on the same look. Regardless of the manufacturer, you are getting aluminum unibody chassis with flat sides and thin display bezels. But the rigid tablet scene is different and the latest offering fur of the blackview is this crazy sub-style feature.
Active 12 Pro is an impressive device that means to use outside, away from the safety of your home. It certainly passes a rigid tablet eye test, but it is not just an extra fickle device with a wide battery.

It has some tricks in its sleeve, the main highlight is a built-in projector for the Impreptu movie nights. But not at all, you also get a dedicated camping light and its 30,000 mah (!) Battery, which promises the run time, and it can be doubled as your Go-to Powerbank for days. This is a fully developed Android 15 tablet and starts at $ 759.

Composition and handling
There is no coming around it, the active 12 Pro is a monster device. It weighs 1.5kg on its own and brings a metal kickstand combined total more than 1.7kg. It is about three times the weight of the iPad Pro 13 (2024) and the thickness of 28.3 mm makes it a perfect choncher.

Rugged plastic casing should be more than capable of taking a few waterfalls. Blackview is an extensive drop durability announcement and the device is also IP68 and IP69K certified so that it can definitely handle dust and water submission.
SIM/microSD cards and charging ports are sealed with rubber flip ps, which is another strong issue if you are planning to use this device around the liquid.
Exhibition

Another special addition is – 606 Ultra -Bright LED aka camping light array. This is extremely bright on 400 lumens and can transform the darkness of the room into a broad day light. Blackview is announcing this as the ideal way to publish your camping site and we can see the potential here.
There is a special toolbag application that allows you to control LEDs with granular brightness control, fast flashing and SOS modes. Interestingly, the proprietary app is the only way to tear the camping light.
Projector
The built-in projector is a specific highlight feature on the active 12 Pro. With a rated bright output of 200 lumens, Projector will not defeat the ultra-short throw (UST) projector in terms of performance, but it is still about 100 lumens brighter than competitive tablets with a built-in projector.
In a vague environment, the Projector of the Active 12 Pro works solid and is honestly a great experience to watch a casual movie. Automatic keystone correction does a great job of setting a picture and of the Tofocus system does great. You really don’t have to do more than a projector point, and it will take care of the rest.
The projector comes with a built-in fan for cooling, which turns on and off every few seconds. It is definitely audible while sitting near the tablet. Turning down the brightness of the projector also reduces the intensity of the fan and is a way to reduce the level of noise.
Until the quality of the projection goes, you can output 1080p content and come with full widewin L1 support for high-rise streaming on Netflix. Blackview claims that you can reach a 120 -inch (304 cm) projection image, which is plentiful. In our test, we got a 100 -inch picture about 2.9m away.
Cam mera
You may be surprised but Blackview has succeeded in fitting the 108MP main ki ammet around the back of Samsung’s HM6 sensor (1/1.67 “) and using a 50MP front-facing module (Samsung JN1).
While the megapixel count is more than you usually get from the tablet, the results are not impressive.

Blackview Active 12 Pro is not the first rigid tablet with a large battery and a built-in projector but it is our first encounter with this type of device. The expectations to start with us were not high, but the projector surprised us because it offers a great viewing experience, and its of Tofocus and Auto toe keystone correction setup is great in overcoming the difficulty.
Large 30,000 mAh batteries means that you can use the device up to hours and charge other gadgets as well. Camping light LED construction site can serve as a lamp, and rigid build can definitely survive outside.
There are many drawbacks, and the main one is the sharp size and weight of this item. It’s a large and clank device with subper screen, bad hepatics, and we are not sure about regular Software Fatware updates.
We can definitely see an appeal to have a portable 120 “projector, which is also a fully developed Android tablet and a powerbank wrapped in a device. 9759 For 12/256GB trim, the Active 12 Pro is a media powerhouse for camping until you can withstand its size and weight.
