The CMF Phone 2 Pro was unveiled on Monday and is currently on a pre-order with sale since May 12 (two weeks from Monday). In the meantime we will look at some options, plus some pixel deals and Galaxy VCH Watch Offers Fails.
The CMF phone starts with 2 Pro 220, which is already very affordable. But you can get the original CMF phone for 1 £ 50 less. Is it worth? You get a slightly small display (6.67 “Vs. 6.77”) and even though it is 1080p+ 120 Hz OLED, it has lower top brightness (2,000 NIT vs. 3,000 NITS) and Pro not HDR 10+ support. It has basically the same dementia 7300 chipset, however, with extended storage and 33W charging, has the same 5,000 mAh battery.
The real reason for getting a pro is for the camera – the rear in phone 1 is 50MP main and the bus. Pro has 50MP main with a very large 1/1.57 “sensor (but no OIS), 50MP50mm telephoto and 8MP ultra-wide. A new attached back magsafe magnet (there is no wireless charging, but is nice for a car dock and serves as a mounting point, and mounting points.
We have seen some commenters desire for features like OIS, for example. For that, you have to get anything phone (3A), but it costs 50% more. Compared to CMF Phone 2 Pro, you get the same screen and camera (now with OIS on the main) and better Snapdragon 7S General 3 chipset. Charging is increased to 50 W, but it is still wire. You get back to the back gliff lights.
Well, 50% more maybe a little more and you still don’t get things like ESIM (only 3 is the pro). What about the previous pay generation – no phone (2A) is still around and is really cheaper than the CMF phone 2 Pro. You get a comparable 6.7 “OLED display, HDR and all, plus glyph lights and 45W charging for 5,000 mAh batteries. There is no telephoto camera, but 50mm lenses are useful anyway? Micros.
The POCO X7 is basically powered by the same dementia 7300 chipset like CMF Phone 2 Pro and you can get more RAM and more storage (12/512 GB) than CMF. There is no microSD slot, but with 512 GB built-in it is not necessary. Proper water resistance in POCO (IP69 vs. IP54) and better 6.67 is display with “12-bit 1220p+ Dolby Vision. The 50MP main camera has an OIS OIS, but uses a small 1/1.95” sensor and only 8MP ultra-wide-wide-no tall lens. The battery is slightly larger and fast in charging of 5,110 mAh capacity and 45W charging.
If you have more money to spend, the POCO X7 Pro upgrades the Dimension 8400 Ultra (with all large Cortex-A725 cores) and a 6,000 mAh battery with 90W charging. The camera is similar to the X7, however, that is, not as good as CMF.
