Google opens a new chapter in Pixel Phone Story-the first models with TSMC-made chipsets are ready for pre-order. Three of the new models will start shipping next week, foldable October will not come out until the beginning of Catber. Prices are the same last year, which is great-well, throws in gift cards with Amazon pre-order.
Google Pixel 10 is the first vanilla model with a telephoto lens. However, it loses a large 1/1.31 “sensor in the main and ultra-wide of pixel 9.
Google Pixel 10 Pro gets a large $ 200 gift card. Once the price of gift cards is calculated, this leaves only $ 100 between 10 and 10 Pro. In the Pro model, the large 1/1.31 “main sensor and high-resolution ultra-wide (48MP vs. 13MP), plus one is the best telephoto-5x zoom in the couple, but this can proceed with its 48MP sensor (vs. 10.5MP).
Pro model also gets the best LTPO OLED display with high resolution (1280p+ vs. 1080p+). The chipset is the same for both, tensor G5, but Pro has more RAM (16GB vs. 12 GB). The battery is essentially the same (4,870 mAh vs.
Google Pixel 10 Pro XL also gets a $ 200 gift card and is essentially an upsized version of 10 Pro. It has a 5,200mAh battery with 6.8 “LTPO displays (1344p+) and fast 45W wire and 25W Q2 charging. Note that this year is not a 128GB option – the cheapest Pro XL is now a 256GB model.
Again, the Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL are now on the pre-order order and will start shipping next week (negligently, on the 28 August Gust, but the first units can come sooner).
Samsung’s flagship series has been for a while and has competitive prices. The Galaxy S 25 is smaller than its 6.2 “LTPO display and is also cheaper. It has a Snapdragon 8 Allight Chip – we have not seen the tensor G5 in action (not properly, anyway), but the Elite is sure.
Speaking of battery endurance, the 4,000mAh cell within the S25 disadvantages, but Google’s tensor has not yet proven that it is capable of operating it effectively. Oh, and if you want magnetic charging and accessories, you will need the right case – it’s not built in the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Pixel 10 Pro is around the same price as the same – though the Google 200 gift card gives the scales tips in favor of the Google Phone. Which of the two has better cameras? It is the subject of future shootout.
If you are more concerned with the weight instead of the height and width, the edge of the Samsung Galaxy S22 is 163g, which is 41g lighter than the “small” pixel 10. This is despite the large 6.7 “1440p+ LTPO display (v. 6.3” 1080p+). On loss, 3,900 mAh battery is 1,070 mAh less than pixel 10 batteries. Also, there is no dedicated telephoto lens – to zoom in, you get what you get from 200MP Main.
Google also unveiled its upcoming Pay Generation Foldable, Pixel 10 Pro Fold. US with IP 68 rating However, as mentioned above, this will not send until October 9th October, so it is probably too early for a pre-order.
If you now need a horizontal foldable, there is a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. It is cheaper than pixels and significantly thin and lighter – 8.9 mm/4.2 mm and 215g, compared to 10.8 mm/5.2 mm and 258g for Pixel 10 Pro Fold. You can also compare it with the Pixel 10 Pro XL – it is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 232g. The battery capacity remains a weak point and is only 4,400 mAh, compared to 5,015 mAh for the Pixel 10 Pro fold.
Google also unveiled a new smartwatch this week, Google Pixel and Watch Ch. And, effectively, it’s the first smartwatch with satellite SOS capabilities – you have to get an LTE model, which is $ 100. However, you cannot put a price on peace of mind and this can change a dedicated satellite messaging device.
Samsung’s new Galaxy with Watch Ch8 cannot call for assistance on satellite, but it is significantly thin – 8.6 mm vs. 12.3 mm. However, the squirrel design may not be in the taste of everyone. Note that Vanilla with WHCH 8 comes with free Galaxy SmartTag 2, which can be used to track your luggage.
Alternatively, you can get the Samsung Galaxy with Watch Ch 8 Classic. This has a unique hardware control, rotating bezel, but the inside screen is a small side for the 46mm model – 1.34 “.
Another new assistant from this week is Google Pixel Buds 2A. Like VCH Ch 4 and Pixel Folds, this will only be available from the beginning of October Catber. They have active noise cancellation (ANC) and celestial audio Dio support, but not wireless charging.
