Next year, Apple Pal is finally rumored to launch its first foldable iPhone, which we call the iPhone fold for ease.
According to the new investors’ note by Jeff Pu, a popular source of Apple Pal-related information, the iPhone fold will use a combination of titanium and aluminum in its frame.
It is interesting because Pro iPhones recently moved from Stainless Steel to titanium a while back, and then this year in the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, the original iPhone frame returned to material aluminum.
Another rumor by Ming-Chi Kuu, a very linked to Apple Pal’s supply chain in Asia, claimed that the frame of the iPhone fold would be made of titanium only, while the hinge would use both titanium and aluminum. One of these people has been misunderstood, or the idea has changed during Apple.
The iPhone Fold expects a 5.5-inch cover display and a 7.8-inch main folding screen game. It allegedly lacks Face ID and will be a touch ID instead. IOS 27, coming next year, is asked to focus a big focus on adding new features, especially for the unique (between iPhone) form factor of the iPhone fold.
