Famous Samsung interior Snow Shared the next S26 Ultra RAM details in the post on X.
He shared that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have 10.7Gbps LPDDR5X RAM, which is the same type of Galaxy S22 Ultra. It is not clear whether the first Galaxy S20 Ultra capacity will change in 2020.
Now, 12GB is more than enough, and it is unlikely that you will get out of the RAM on your phone under normal circumstances.
But in recent years, competitive Android flagships have normalized 16GB of Reme as a base, and some are as high as 24 GB. Therefore, if the S26 Ultra is actually 12 GB, it will look underpooked than the Xiomi Ultra, OnePlus 15, Google’s Pixel 10 Series and other rivals.
Currently, only the iPhone is still using less than 12 GB at 8GB.
