We were fortunate enough to attend Oppo’s launch event for Find X8 Ultra in China and decided to take advantage of the occasion by placing its cameras through a quick camera drill.
We took the phone around the beautiful Zian, the capital city of Shanxi province and took photos at 0.6x, 1x, 3x and 6x. We also pulled the 6x zoom camera beyond its OPT pattal limit and snapped a few low-light and portrait samples.
The idea here is to give you a glimpse of the imaging potential of Find X8 Ultra, not to ruin our detailed analysis of its camera. So we will keep it briefly with technical stories.
Photos shows the technical brightness of Find X8 Ultra, from 15mm, all the way to 135 mm (and beyond). Image processing is impressive in a strong manner between cameras – sharpness, contrasts, and especially in tonility sinks.
There are some color temperature differences between the wide angle cameras and the zoom camera, but at least two pairs are compatible between each other – the wides keep the same color temperature, and therefore zoom.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra has an impressive zoom range. It has a strong argument because of its ultra -cameraphone category being the most sensible choice of focal length. You have a 70mm midrange zoom option, which is supported by a wide 1/1.56-inch sensor (only Vivo X100 Ultra and 1/1.4-inch of X200 Pro at the same 85mm focal length) and new bright F/2.1 lenses.
And if you need to get a nice detail over long distances, you have a 135mm telephoto camera, now supported by a large sensor and bright F/3.1 lens. It’s a big step from F/4.3, especially in low light.

The 6x zoom camera is very useful when pushing ahead of 135 mm. It helps maintain nice details in the distance, which otherwise would be out of reach of a 70mm shooter.
Both are tested for 70 mm and 135 mm central length effort and portrayal. We have captured a few samples by each. Hesselblad-tuned portrait mode gives wonders to separate the subject from the background.

In the end, there are some snacks from the 1 -inch main camera in low light. This is the most capable sensor ever for the vague light work – its impressive light -integrated capabilities means that it takes photos in a darker situation than the pixel, iPhone, or Galaxy flagship can manage. And the resulting image has a large camera randation due to a large sensor.
