Google is working on a new Gemini model that will use your search history for better personalization. This has come out today by the tears of the latest Google app.
As the screenshot shows the following, this will be called “personalization” in “Gemini” or just model selector up top.

It seems to be at least at the beginning of OPT pt-in, and if you go for it, it promises to provide “personal assistance based on your Google Search History”. Google emphasizes that only this special model will be connected to your search history if you allow it.
When using the model you can also disconnect it from your history as shown in the screenshot on the right. This model seems to provide accurate results based on your search history, at least if you ask something clear to show your history or if you ask about the specific things you have discovered.
Gemini personalization model
Of course, this will be more useful if it may include your search history in answers to more common questions, because its accense cess in your history should know you “better” and make its answers especially corresponding. It is our assumption, at least, but it is yet to be seen how Google will position this model after becoming official, which can happen very soon.
