Google’s AI mode is getting a new feature: Live Search. This is like Gemini live, but inside the Google app for iOS and Android. It is currently limited to US users, which are registered in AI Mode experiment in Labs.
Google says, like Gemini Live, it lets you “free-flowing, back-and-voice is a conversation” with search, says Google. The company offers a bill as a perfect way to find it when you are on a trip or on multitasking. All you need to do is open the Google app, tap the new live icon, and then say your question. Then you can follow-up with another question. According to Google, you will find “easily esces links on your screen”.

The search also works in the background, so you can continue the conversation even when you are in another application. And the transcript option will turn you into text mode. With the history of AI mode, you can always re -visit a specific response and choose where you left off.
The only question here is when Gemini already does this why this needs to exist, and the access to access to Android is very easy to cess. Why can’t these two “live” AI things be the same thing by Google? We don’t know. Google says Search Live uses Gemini’s custom version with advanced voice is capabilities. Next month, when you talk back and forth it will allow you to use your camera so that you can show it what you are seeing in real time-Gemini Live like.
