In his latest power on the newsletter for Bloomberg, Mark Gurman said that Apple expects Pal Siri to pour with his own AI. According to him, there are engineering issues with Siri’s overall, and smart features are not constantly working.
The update was initially scheduled to arrive in April with iOS 18.4, but now it seems that Siri’s Apple Pal Intelligence Features will come with iOS 18.5 in May.
Gurman added that Siri’s makeover is the center of the platform of Apple Pal Intelligence. However, the Software has been released in the fatware phase, and it is still missing from key markets like Continental Europe and China.
This new step is an attempt to compete with Chattagpt by Lalama by OpenAI, Google Gemini and Meta for Apple Pal. The company is struggling internally to meet the deadline, which can affect future updates, pushing some iOS 19 features to 2026.
Siri is expected to be tapped in your data to respond to Apple Pal Intelligence better, a new system that will allow the assistant to control applications more precisely, and the ability to understand what is happening on the screen.
