Samsung will unveil its XR headset in a few hours – the first device to run Android XR. Thanks to dedicated Android XR support in the Unity 6 game making engine, here are some apps you’ll be able to use from day one.

NFL Pro Era (developed by StatusPro) is the first licensed NFL virtual reality simulation game. It’s available on Android XR, but you can also play it on Meta Quest, PlayStation VR, and Windows.

Samsung’s headset – currently known as “Project Moohn” but likely to be announced as the “Samsung Galaxy XR” – is the first Android XR device. The platform natively supports various form factors and so does Unity 6.
“Unity’s support of Android XR made it really easy for us to get started. We were able to bring some of our biggest games to Android XR in about a week, which helped us reach more players without a ton of extra work. That time savings also allowed us to create something new with Inside (JOB),” said Andrew Eich, CEO of Owlchemy Labs.
