Samsung’s leaked event invite for its upcoming Unpacked event at the end of January interestingly shows not three but four devices and if we go by past rumours, it stands to reason that the Galaxy S25 family will have a fourth member alongside the S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. Galaxy S25 Slim.
Along with that, Samsung seems to be trying to prepare for Apple’s iPhone 17 Air release next September. So having heard so much about the Galaxy S25 Slim so far, you might be wondering how thin it will be. Today, Chinese leakster Ice Universe has given us an answer of sorts.
According to him, we should expect the Galaxy S25 Slim to be 6.x mm thick. So definitely less than 7mm, but we can’t tell you exactly how thin yet.
Samsung Galaxy S24+
If this is true, Apple will definitely have the thinnest smartphone ever, as its iPhone 17 Air is between 5 mm and 6 mm thick. That said, it’s also rumored to make a lot of sacrifices to achieve that, including having only one rear camera like it’s on the SE or something.
While the Galaxy S25 Slim will most likely be shown unpacked in January, keep in mind that recent rumors have claimed that it will only be released at the end of the year.
