According to the new DCS post, Honor’s 2025 flagships will provide at least 7,000 mAh cells while its midrangers are ready to pack cells in the 8,000 mAh range and above. Since the Honor X60 was sent with 5,880 mAh cell last year, it is a significant increase for Honor’s midrangers while the X60 Pro has shown a capacity of 6,600 mAh.

The Honor’s flagship Magic 7 series was between 5,650 and 5,850 mAh cells, so 7,000+ mAh on the next Magic 8 series would be a solid improvement. DCS also suggests that future Honor Flagships will provide a maximum of 100W wired charging speed. It remains to be seen whether Honor phones outside China will increase the extra battery capacity.
