The honor presents the AI Connect feature a few months ago that enables wireless file transfer between Honor and Apple Pal’s iOS devices. Now, the brand has come up with a new device clone feature that works with Harmonos of Android, iOS and Huawei.
Honor has upgraded its device clone app to support device cloning with devices running operating systems above the three smartphones operating above. This will allow users to easily transfer data from one device to another by cloning without the need for any additional devices or accessories.
This development also honors the first brand to support the Harmonos Next data transfer. To clone the old device, honor smartphone users can download and install the “Device Clone” app from the IAL Facial App Store on the old and new smartphones.
Next, to activate the device clone feature, navigate the new smartphone’s settings menu> Select System and Updates> Tap the Device Clone> Click “This is a new device”> Select the old device type as “Harmonios”.
Follow the same steps on the old device, but instead of “this is a new device”, select “This is an old device”. After that, scan the QR code on a new device with an old device to connect both devices, then select the data that needs to be transferred to a new device, and click “Next”.
