Huawei is expanding its werable portfolio, and the latest addition is free-ear-ear-eared headphones designed for active lifestyle and comfort.
The introduction of the freeear was mostly flying under the radar as it came with a fellow XT Ultimate Global unveiling. It’s easy to see why people would be more interested in a tri-fold smartphone than a relatively simple earphone pair.
Nevertheless, we took our time to review them and learned that they were shining in some scenes.

Conduct
The freeErric ergonomically is designed to provide safe screws, showing a hook by wrapping around the ear. Since they have an open-ear design, they offer excellent comfort and breathing.
Huawei calls this a “C-Bridge design”-it essentially contains three elements: Audio deo hardware on the side of the ear, battery and thin wire of the ear that combines both.
Each earbud is made of 0.7 mm high performance nephew alloy, which is both flexible and durable, allowing it to easily accept the shape of any ear. The whole set is finished in soft silicone, and we have received two color options: basic black and more surprisingly green.
Thanks to the grip and overall shape of the material, called the Huawei “140-degree best triangle design”, the buds last for hours and are comfortable to be worn for a long time.

The open ear design allows you to be aware of your surroundings. The earpiece does not enter the ear canal, which can be both a blessing and a curse. On the positive side, you can hear music and podcast without blocking the outside sound.
However, when the quality of the sound is appropriate, the frear is not designed to deliver a premium listening experience, so Audio Dio cannot be fully appreciated in the way some hopes.
So, for whom is the freeer designed? After placing them through multiple tests, we saw that they were excellent in certain situations. One of these is running on the track. With its dual-resonator antenna, the freearrek company claims that up to 400 meters can maintain an uninterrupted Bluetooth connection.
This makes your phone ideal for leaving the track in your bag while you are running lapses, though it is not so useful for the run around the park.
Another scenario where there is freeer shines while Calls are made at home. You can forget to catch your phone, Audio Dio is moving freely while talking without losing clarity. Microphones are well targeted on your mouth, ensuring clear communication.
They also work well for casual walks in a busy urban environment, where it is important to listen to your surroundings. Because the freeer does not block the ear canal, it allows a clear passage of external noises when you enjoy your Audio Dio, making it a good choice for a walk in unexpected atmosphere, such as crowded streets or public transport.
However, there are some limitations. Noisy atmosphere like Free Aurrek Jim is not suitable for use, where music can interfere with loudly in what you are trying to hear. They are also far from the ideal for road cycling – whether earbuds should be worn when bicycling – but hinders things like fryer fitted sunglasses, helmets or other headgear that wrap around the ear.
Despite the IP57 rated for water and dust resistance, you should not take the frear in the pool. They are uncomfortable with the swim cap, and they will fall without one.
Sound quality
The sound quality of the Huawei freeear is surprisingly solid in view of the price point. Equipped with a 17mm x 12mm driver, earbuds delivers punch bass and clear, balanced sound, making them suitable for various Audio deo content, from music to podcast.
However, due to the formation of the open ear, Audio Dio experience is not as immersed as traditional in-ear or over-ear headphones.
The voice is clear and agile, it is not to provide a high-final listening experience. Freeererek is excellent in an environment where you need to be aware of your surroundings, but I defiles probably should stay away from it.
Dual-microphone layout, powered by AI sound filtering, ensures that Calls LS is clear and uninterrupted, even in a little noisy conditions.
B Battery Terry Life
Huawei generally does not quite battery capacity for its warable, but during a conversation with reporters, we were told that each bud has a 55mAh battery, and in this case there is a 510 mAh battery.
It takes one hour to fully charge earbuds in the case, which only charged by USB-C; Wireless charging on this model was ignored.
At full charge, we found that freeer use more than 6 hours at 75% volume, some sessions extend to 6 hours and 30 minutes.
The battery life is impressive, and with the use of intermittent all day, they should survive by a workwear without issue.
Judgment
Overall, Huawei has created a solid set of earbuds. The sound is clear and punchy, especially for the price, and it is comfortable and lightweight. Battery life is excellent, which makes them a reliable option for daily use.
That said, they are best for a calm atmosphere. Another disadvantage is that Huawei’s Werable still struggles with Apple Pal devices, though both companies have progressed to improve battery performance and third-party integration.
The price of the freeear is £ 99 in the UK and € 99 in Europe (exemption from € 119), and Huawei offers bundles on its website, such as band 9 or another pair of friyers at a lower price of France at half. Considering these deals, freeer is definitely worth considering.
