Today, Huawei brought its Matapad Pro 12.2 (2025) in the Chinese market, and unveiled the new M-Pencil Pro Stylus with it. This is the company’s most advanced stylus to date.
It comes with 16,384 pressure levels, a simple design and support for a smart key that you can use to access the Huawei’s Celia Assistant, which can give you the applications, managing your schedule, or just one click.

If you double-tap the button close to any input field, the VOICE Is-to-Text Transcription will be triggered immediately for a quick and easy text entry. The rotating brush movement of M-Pencil Pro mirror the way real brushes behave, while giving a more natural feeling when sketching and paint.

Stylus comes with three interchangeable tips, for a painting, for a standard writing, and a micro-writing, each catering for a different task. On Huawei devices, in applications such as Go Paint and Huawei notes, if you pinch the body of the stylus, you can tear a double-click switch between pen shapes, pallets or tools and writing and erasing. The light outside of any application brings a global wave wheel for an instant penetration of Shorthand, OT notation and more.
The stylus has a tactile response from its built-in motor, and with the nearestlink facility it can also be located 50 meters away in different floors. However, you need to use another Huawei device to do this work.
Huawei M-Pencil Pro is now available for pre-order from Huawei’s Store Neline Store for CNY 699, which translates into approximately $ 97 or € 82. It will be published on the 8 August Gust. Availability outside China is not given.
