Vivo unveiled X Fold 3 last March, and its successor – called X Fold 5 instead of Fold 4 – is coming soon. Vivo recently posted a video that is lighter than folded 5 fold 3, with a weight of 219G. Now, the brand official has shared several images comparing the thickness of the Vivo X Fold 5 along with the Apple Pal iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Located next to the iPhone 16 Pro Max in the pictures, both folded and shows Vivo X Fold 5 in the revealed states. You can see that in the revealed state, the X Fold 5 is thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro Max, but even in the fold position, it is a little thicker than the iPhone.

Vivo has not yet announced the date of the launch of X Fold 5, but rumors claim that the smartphone will be unveiled with X200 Fannie on July 10.
Vivo X Fold 5 comes with a 6,000 mAh battery with Snapdragon 8 General 3SOC, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage and 90W wire and 30 W wireless charging support.

Five cameras will be featured in X Fold 5: two 32MP selfie cameras (one on each screen) and three 50MP cameras on the back (primary, ultravide, periscope telephoto).
Primary Q Camera Marra will use the Sony IMX 921 sensor, while the Periscope Telefoto Unit – 3x OPT with pattical zoom – Sony will use the IMX 882 sensor. Ultravide cameras will have a tofocus for macro photography.
