In the latest installments of smartphone brand partners with iconic imaging brands, Realm and Ricoh are entering a long -term strategic partnership. The deal has been apparently working for four years and will end with the start of the next Realm GT8 Pro, which will be the first device to offer widespread camera customization and co-developed facilities with Ricoh.

It includes OPT pties, color algorithms, imaging tones and innovation in the custom-made camera UI that mimic the appearance and realization of the Ricoh GR Series camera. Realmeni GT8 Pro, like the Ricoh GR camera, will also bring custom photographic film filters, five imaging tones, focusing on street photography.

Realm found that youths struggle with two main pain points in mobile photography: more and more similar hardware and over-processed algorithms that stripped photos of authenticity.

The Realm GT8 Pro is expected to display 200MP, 1/1.56 “type, isosel HP5 periscope telephoto with 50MP LYT -700, 1/1.5” main shooter.

Realme GT8 Series is set to begin in China later this month, while the international launch is rumored to be held in November.
