Infinix launched the GT30 Pro in May, and followed it in August with GT30, which was first introduced in India and made it a global start a few days ago. We spent some time with Infinix GT30 (aka Infinix GT30 5G+), and here’s our first impression of a gamer-centered smartphone.

Under the performance of GT30 is an OPT pattal fingerprint scanner, which has found us to be fast and accurate during our time with smartphones. However, we have chosen to put it high for a more convenient phone-analyzing experience.
Turn the Infinix GT30 around and you see what Infinix calls the Cyber Macha 2.0 design, “gives a bold and futuristic look, which speaks to the taste of OG gamer with sharp geometric lines with a modern, sharp style.”
The back panel of the GT30, made of plastic with a glossy finish, did a proper job resisting a smear. However, its flat design may not be in the taste of everyone because it may not provide a comfortable experience in hand due to the lack of curves around the edge.
The previous cover of Infinix GT30 has a dual camera setup, which includes 64MP primary and 8MP ultravide unit. Primary Q Camera Mero uses the Sony IMX 682 sensor, has a f/1.75 hole, and 86.2 of FOV. Infinix GT30 comes in four shades – cyber Blue, Pulse Green, Blade White and Shadow Ash, which are not available in India. The weight and dimensions of all four are the same, but they have different designs in the back panels. Blade White and Shadow Ash version lacks the geometric design found in cyber blue and pulse green models. The subject of this hand is the green version of the pulse, which does not look green at a certain angle and in some lighting conditions.

In addition, the lights are shining when you use a photo timer. You can customize the period during which you want to enable these lights for different purposes.
Moreover, mechanical light waves support party mode, and when it is enabled, the LED is blinking in various patterns. And three of them are – breath, meteorite and rhythm.

We view mechanical light waves as a feature that can sometimes attract attention because instruction support is only useful when the phone is placed down the screen-side.
That said the Infinix GT 30 has a USB-C port at the bottom, which is flanked by speaker grille, microphone and SIM card slot. The top is the second is Mike and a speaker, joined with IR Blaster. On the right is the volume rocker and a power button, with a red accent on the pulse green model.

This brings us to the largest highlight of the Infinix GT30 – GT Shoulder Triggers. These are capacitive buttons, and two of them are – one on the top and bottom of the right frame. They have support for both 520 Hz touch sample rate, 7 ms hardware latency and wet and oily touch.
These triggers give hepatic response and can be customized to perform various actions with a single press, double press or long-pressure. For example, you can press both triggers at a time to open applications or games, or rewind a trigger or quick forward/video to record the screen. Double -pressive One Trigger Camera will open the Mera app or turn on the phone’s flashlight, but you can also create a custom action.
Moreover, when you have a default lt Q Camera Mero application open, pressing a trigger will click the photo, while the trigger shoots will explode for a long time.
Infinix GT 30 Customized with GT Shoulder Triggers
When gaming, you can customize these GT shoulder triggers through the XOBUST panel and create a map of “L” and “R” symbols for your preferred actions. These triggers worked effectively, whether they were gaming or doing other actions, and they really improved the gaming experience, which was quite enjoyable. We want to see more smartphones showing these GT shoulders triggers, especially with gamers in mind.
