Apple Pall introduced the first stable build of iOS 26 a few weeks before the new iPhone Air, iPhone 17, iPhone 17, and iPhone 17 Pro Max’s in-store availability.
Now it’s back with another update, iOS dubb 26.0.1. The name indicates, this is a small bug-fixing update that does not represent any new features. According to the Changelog, it means fixing some issues on the new iPhone.

Here is a complete changelog only from the Apple Pal:
This update provides important bug fix and security updates for your iPhone, which includes updates for the following issues:
-Wi-Fi and Bluetooth can sometimes be disconnected on iPhone 17, iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro models
– The number of iPhone users may be unable to connect to a cellular network after updating iOS 26
– The photos taken under certain conditions of lighting with iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models may include unexpected artifacts
– Application icons may appear empty after adding custom tint
– VOICE Isover may be disabled for some users after updating on iOS 26
Update should already be available for all supported iPhone (and iPados 26.0.1 as iPads), though it seems primarily intended for new models. It fixes some important issues as per the detail above, so we recommend downloading and installing it as soon as possible.
