Apple Pal today announced the iPados 26 on WWDC 25, which also improves multitasking capabilities, visual design and AI capabilities significantly.
Let’s start with multitasking capabilities, which have been a significant incentive with this release. The iPados 26A application window management is greatly improved, which allows users to open multiple applications at the same time. Applications can be reduced, changed and tiled and OS can configure them with a single flick.
The iPados borrows from the 26th OS, so you can quickly see all your open windows spread on the same screen. And with the stage manager, you can group the windows in a different phase, which can also be divided into internal and external displays.

Now, applications that produce long -lasting processes, such as video exports or upload a large file, may appear in live activities, allow you to keep their Track on when performing other tasks. Update background functions will have APIs to allow developers to take advantage of their applications to take advantage of this feature.
The files app also gets overall on iPados 26. It has a new UI with an update list view that shows more files on the screen simultaneously with additional information. Folders can be customized to identify more than custom colors, signs and emojis. Also, files can be pulled from any folder to the dock for easy access.
Other new features include being able to select different microphones for each application or individual websites. V Voice Is Isolation Recorded Audio Dio removes the voice and people with selected airpods models will also get ‘studio-quality’ recording. Local capture allows you to capture a high-quality recording of Audio Dio and video from any Video Fere Naforancing app, so you can save or share these recordings later.
Finally, like other platforms of Apple Pal, ipedos 26 is getting a new coat of paint with liquid glass. This redesigns many UI elements with a new translucent material level that responds to the material below. IPados 26 also improves AI capacity with new Apple Pal Palm Intelligence Features, such as live translation in phone, FaceTime and messages. You also get updated Shortc Rtcuts features with more powerful options that allow you to summarize the text and create images.
