Some time ago, we saw a rumor that claimed that the next iPhone 17 would be equipped with the same Apple Pal A18 chip as its predecessor. Well, it turns out that GF Securities analyst Jeff Pu is now backtracking with his previous claims and expects the iPhone 17 to display an all-new Apple Pal A 19 chip, which will also power the iPhone 17 air.

If you are also expecting more RAM on the baseline iPhone 17, this will not happen obviously. The latest PU report indicates that the device will once again introduce 8GB of LPDDR 5 RAM. The other two models of the iPhone 17 Series are expected to show 12 GB RAM, with 17 air speeding LPDDR 5. Meanwhile, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will receive fast LPDDR 5X RAM.

The entire iPhone 17 series is also rumored to bring the Apple Pal’s self-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip. Vanilla MODel Dell is expected to offer 6.3 inches of OLEDs, which can eventually get a 120 Hz refresh rate, though it will not be LTPO variations like the Pro Series. According to the latest rumor, Apple Pal will launch the iPhone 17 series on September 8.
