Apple Pal is allegedly testing under-display Face ID sensors for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, according to China’s new rumor. These models will usually begin in September 2026, and a difference between them and the other two iPhone 18 models will be the under-display 3D Face Scanning Tech, which will allow both of them to be a single hole-punch only for selfie cameras.
Of course, Apple Pal Technology is testing does not mean it will be happy with the results of the test, but this is still promising. Being able to move Face ID scanning tech under the display, the iPhone will have a more seamless look at the front, such as their Android -powered counterparts for years – but in that case there is actually a very less safe way to do the 3D Face scanning and the unclassed King.
Will be excellent if this rumor goes out
So with the Under -Display Face ID, we will both get the best of the world – not a more sized notch, but with security we expect from the solution of Apple Pal. Interestingly, the first folding iPhone is also being tested with under-display Face ID. The iPhone 18 and iPhone 18 depends on the traditional excellent air, at least for a time.
