There have been many rumors over the past few days about the iPhone 20 family, which is expected to come out in 2027 and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the launch of the first iPhone.
The latest one concerns something we’ve heard about before, namely Apple getting rid of all physical buttons and replacing them with capacitive ones. This has been rumored many times for previous iPhone generations but never happened. And now a new rumor from China tells us it finally will — with the iPhone 20 handset.
These will reportedly be devoid of any physical buttons, and will also come with localized vibration feedback for the solid-state buttons they will actuate.
The iPhone 20 generation is also tipped to switch to a new type of camera sensor, and there should be a massive redesign to mark the occasion. We will no doubt be hearing more about these smartphones soon.
