Samsung can now offer seven -year updates for its latest flagships (eight for enterprise models), but that has not always happened. The Galaxy S20 Series has now reached the end of the road – no one will receive more Software Ftware Updates from now on.
We are talking about the S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra by the way, which has reached the five -year mark after their release. Samsung gave them monthly security updates for the first four of those years, then turned them on a quarterly schedule for last year. And now they are all finished, because those devices were promised to support only for five years.
Since the release of that year, the S20F is still receiving quarterly security updates, but will be beaten in a few months from now.
Many phone makers these days support prolonged and long software ftware for their flagships, which is at least a welcome trend, but we should be surprised how long. We would love to hear from you – how often do you switch the phone? And this way, what a large number of SOFTWARE FTWARE support window is there in your point of view? Tell us in the comments.
