Samsung Display is rumored to bring a crease free folding screen for the foldable iPhone of the Pal, but a new report Mars Chi-Kuo The new General Panel suggests that it will actually start on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 next year.

Samsung Display’s chief suppliers, Fine M-TEC, announced that it would invest 17.5 billion (.6 12.6 million), reported to support the new demand for laser-processed hinges. The company has developed an internal hinge using laser-drilled metal plates, which will help guide the distribution of stress and offer enhanced crease resistance.
Fine M-Tech Apple Pal Folding is expected to supply more than 80% of the internal hinges for iPhone displays and Kuo is also confident that it will be a special supplier for Z Fold 8. The new report also suggests that Apple Pal’s entry into the foldable phone market and its stringent requirements for the crease-free folding display will accelerate the adoption of laser-drilled display metal plates through competitors.
