From today, all new smartphones and tablets sold in the EU are required to provide ENERGY Raza Efficiency Label within their packaging. In-B Stk Sticker is the same as shown on other customer electronic devices sold in the EU/EEA market. The main goal of the new regulation is to help EU consumers choose to buy information and reduce CO₂ emissions.
Regulation applies with all cordless phones (landlines), smartphones, internet connections or third-party applications, with feature phones and 7 to 17.4 inch screens.
Energy Raza Sticker, as it is generally known, shows a rating on a scale from A to G, with the most efficient and G at least efficient. It shows seven pieces of information:
- Overall ENERGY Efficiency Class Rating (from A to G).
- Battery endurance per cycle of full battery charge (in hours and minutes)
- Repeated Free Fall Reliability Class (from A to E).
- Battery endurance in the cycle.
- Repair class (from A to E).
- English Protection Rating.
Manufacturers will need to register their products with the European Product Registry for Energy Labeling (EPRL) which is powered by the European Commission.
In addition, all new devices sold in the EU will have to complete the five eco-design criteria:
- Durability: Devices should be resistant to accidental drops and protected against dust and water.
- Life expectancy: Batteries must bear at least 800 full charge and discharge cycles while maintaining at least 80% of their original capacity.
- Repair: Manufacturers must make crucial spare parts available in 5 to 10 working days, and continue to offer them for 7 years after selling the product in the EU.
- SPON ATWARE OFFERS: The devices must receive the operating petting system upgrades for at least 5 years from the deadline of sale.
- Repair receipt: Professional repairers must have non-incurring access cess of any required Software Ftware or Fermware.
Devices that started before June 20 are exempted from new labels, and even Do not apply Tablet computer with rollable display devices, smartphones designed for high-protection communication, and full-fledged operating palleting systems.
We would like to point out that the new battery endurance rating aspect is actually tied closely with our own battery life test and the French automation company uses the Software Ftware of the SmartWizer, which now offers similar test solutions to device manufacturers.
