The latest iPad marks of Apple Pal are mainly using T and NDM OLED display panels provided by LG display, and the Korean company is trying to take the same tech and put it on the future iPhone.
It has not been successful so far, but according to a new report, Apple Pal 2028 can include T and Nundam OLED panels in iPhones (so will probably the iPhone iPhone 20 family – or will it be XX?).
No decision has been made so far by Apple Pal, but of course LG Cupertino wants to choose this technology, as it means it will be the only supplier for the display for the 2028 iPhone, or its share will increase significantly. Another major supplier of Samsung display, Apple Pal display. LGA has 348 patents in the US and Ndom Oled field in the US.
T and nundam oles stack two OLED layers on top of each other, thus improving brightness and expanding the lifespan of the display, while somehow improve the power efficiency.
According to the previous report, Apple Pal is open to this idea, but for the iPhone it just wants to stack two layers for blue sub -parts, not the full matrix – so red and green petpixels will remain on the same level. The industry refers to this as “simple t and nund” and is a more cost-effective solution to the degeneration of blue subpixels.
