The latest chipsets of MediaTek continue the trend of marginal Overh ULS LS on their predecessor. Brand-new dementia 00 740 and 00 740X are close to carbon copies of last year’s dimensity 7300 and 00 731X, with the main change of 100 MHz overclock on the 4x Cortex-A78 Performance Core, which now operates up to 2.6GHz.
The CPU also operates 2X Cortex-A55 functionality units at 2.0 GHz. Like last year, the 7400x variant supports dual displays and will launch it on the next flip foldable devices.

The new Dimension 7000 Series chips have been fabered on TSMC’s 4NM process and the same arm is linked to Mali-G 615 GPU and support for LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. MediaTech also added its adaptive gaming technology 3.0 that balances the exhibition for the best battery life.

MediaTek’s network observation system (NOS) enables the use of a specific 5G/Wi-Fi switching and advanced network forecasts. In terms of connectivity, you get a 5G modem with 3cc carrier consolidation, Tri-band Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 support. MediaTech also added its imagery 950 ISP that supports 12-bit HDR and 200MP sensors.
MediaTek confirmed that the first batch of Dimensity 7400 Series phones will begin in Q1 2025.
