The highly anticipated MediaTek Dimension 9400+ is now official, and as expected, it is a small improvement compared to the 9400 launched last year. Demensity 9400+’SCPU surrounds an arm Cortex-X 925 core 3.73 GHz, which is higher than 63.6363 GHz of 00 94.
So basically, it seems that 00 941+ is a high-bin 00 940. While the NPU890 is still, it now comes with 20% fast agentic AI display with speculative decoding+ and allows developers to easily turn the traditional AI app into “sophisticated agentic AI applications” because “Agentic AI” is the early Boised term of early 2025.
It’s all differences from 00 940. So you are still getting three Cortex-X4 cores and four cortex-A720 cores, support for LPDDR 5X RAM at a maximum frequency of 10,667 Mbps, UFS 4 storage, Sub 6 5G, GPS/BIDO/Glonas/Galilo/QZS. With a 12 Mbps peak data rate, a maximum camera sensor resolution of 320MP and 8 or 60 video recording, as well as WQHD+ resolution and support for display of up to 180 Hz refration rate. Amar-G925 MC12 GPU is also unchanged.
Both Oppo finds X8s and use X8s+ Dimense 9400+, and will also do the next Vivo X200s.
