Microsoft has announced its latest surface devices with 2 -in -1 Surface Pro 12 and surface laptop 13. Both are arm-driven with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus Chip, Boot Windows 11 and Micros .fat .ft+ PC suite.
Surface Pro 12
The Surface Pro 12 is built around 12 -inch LCD touchscreen with 2,196 x 1,464px resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The signature surface 3: 2 aspect ratio is back again, and you still get the stylus input through the bundle surface slim pen, which attaches and charges the back of the device. The device has a 1080p front-facing camera with Windows Hello and a 10MP rear shooter.
Like the previous surface 2 -in -1 devices, the Surface Pro 12 has an adjustable kickstand and a detachable keyboard. Micros .ft is now offering its alternative keyboard assistant in slate, violet and sea colors, though it goes away from the surface of the previous pay generation.
Surface Pro 12 has 16GB LPDDR 5X RAM and 256 or 512GB of storage in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus (8 Core). There are no vents for cooling in the device. It has Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, though there is no cellular option at this time.
Surface Pro 12 facilitates aluminum chassis, weighs only 686 grams, and 7.8 mm thick. It has 2X USB-C ports, which support USB 3.2 and DP 1.4A protocols. Microsoft removes the magnetic surface connect charging port.
Microsoft has not disclosed the actual battery capacity of Surface Pro 12, but claims it can deliver up to 12 hours of web usage and 16 hours of local video playback.
Surface Pro 12 is on pre-order and starts $ 800/€ 979/£ 799 For 256GB storage version. It comes in platinum, violet and sea colors. Delivery is scheduled on May 20.
Surface laptop 13
13.8 “and 15” complement the models, the new 13 -inch surface laptop slots as the most compact entry in the surface laptop family. It gets a 13 -inch LCD touchscreen with 1,920 x 1,280 PX resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate and 3: 2 aspect ratio. You also get the 1080p webm AM with Windows Hello.
The laptop gets the aluminum chassis and weighs 1.22 kg. It has the same 8-core Snapdragon X Plus chip as surface Pro 12, which is attached to 16GB of LPDDR 5X RAM and 256 or 512 GB storage.
In terms of ports, you get 1X USB-A (3.1), 2X USB-C (USB4 and Displayport 1.4A) and Headphone Jack. You also get Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
Like Surface Pro 12, we do not get the actual battery capacity figure. Microsoft claims 16 -hour web usage and local video playback up to 23 hours.
Surface laptop comes in 13 sea, violet and platinum colors. Prices begin $ 900/€ 1,099/£ 899 For the 256GB version. Delivery is scheduled on May 20.
