Motorola is about to dip its toes into the slim smartphone game internationally with the Edge 70, expected to be the rebranded X70 Air, a model that made its debut in China earlier this month.

As we await the global launch, a few more press renders have been released showing the Edge 70 and confirming some of its specs – a 4,800 mAh silicon carbon battery with 68W wired charging support, 5.99mm thickness, 159g weight and a 50MP main camera.

These colors will apparently be called Pantone Bronze Green and Pantone Lily Pad. On its way to the EU markets, the Edge 70 has also picked up the mandatory EU Energy Label, as you can see below.

The label states that the phone will have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, an A rating for drop protection, a B rating for ease of service and an A rating for battery life with a quoted runtime of 49 hours and 34 minutes. The battery should also withstand 1,000 charge cycles before it drops below 80% of its initial capacity.

The Motorola Edge 70 is launching in Europe on November 5, with a rumored price tag of around €700. At the same time we will find out if it is 100% identical to its Chinese counterpart, the X70 Air, or if it has some minor changes. Stay tuned.
