In the closest move to an official announcement, Motorola has listed the Edge 70 on its official Polish website, along with the phone’s full specifications.
The Motorola Edge 70 is the global variant of the China-locked ultrathin Motorola X70 Air, but it’s not yet clear whether it will share its exact specs. It is mostly now.
The Edge 70 comes in three Pantone-branded colors – Gadget Grey, Lily Pad and Bronze Green. All three colors come with a unique nylon-textured finish on the back of the phone, the frame is aircraft-grade aluminum and the front is Gorilla Glass 7i. The body has passed some MIL-STD 810H standards.

The Edge 70’s biggest claim to fame is its sleek body. It’s just 6mm thick, 160mm tall, 74mm wide and weighs 159 grams – 20 grams less than the Edge 60.
The Motorola Edge 70 has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and runs Android 16 with Motorola’s OS skin on top.
Being thin has some tradeoffs – the battery is only a 4,800mAh unit, but Motorola promises up to 29 hours of video and 66 hours of music playback, up to 8 hours of 4K video recording and up to 10 hours of social media. A previous leak shared the EU Energy Label of the Motorola Edge 70, which says we should expect around 50 hours of endurance.
Charging is impressive at 68W wired and 15W wireless.
Upfront is a 6.67-inch 120Hz pOLED display with 2712x1220px resolution. Pantone approved for panel correct colors.
At the rear is a dual 50MP camera system – 24mm f/1.8 wide angle and 12mm f/2.0 ultrawide with PDAF. There is another 50MP camera on the front.
Pricing and availability details about the Edge 70 are pending for Motorola to share.
