The MWC 2025 expires today, and the Global Mobile Awards (Glomo) announced its annual winners. 33 prizes were given in the categories category, and four of them were in the device section:
- The best smartphone: Google Pixel 9 Pro
- Breakthrough Device Innovation: Google Gemini
- The best connected customer device: Techno Mega Mini Gaming G1
- The best in the show: Ziomi 15 Ultra
Pixel 9 Pro was selected for “excellent performance, innovation and leadership” in its market. It won against devices like iPhone 16 Pro, Galaxy S24, Ultra, Magic V3, and Vivo X 200 in the smartphone category launched between January 2024 and December 2024.
Breakthrough Innovation is for the main hardware and s software ftware inside the devices. This category is for processors, cameras, screens and other technologies, and Gemini won a jury with its generic AI for the final customer. Other renowned tech Galaxy AI, Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset and Huawei were a tri-fold hinge on the Matt XT.
The best-connected consumer device category is the most diverse and is exposed to mobile products, gadgets, services, solutions and applications. The winner Mega Mini Gaming G1 is the world’s smallest water-cooled gaming mini PC, which comes with Intel Core I 9-13900H processor and Geffours RTX 4060 GPU. It is priced at 69 1,699 and has been in the market for several months.
The Best In Show is a category for products and devices that were announced in the Mobile World Congress. We saw plenty of devices on the gran in Barcelona, but the Ziomi 15 Ultra Ni OU was the most interesting product for the final customer.
