The battery with silicone has appeared in almost all Chinese flagship smartphones in the last few months, and has enabled a lot more density than the new tech traditional Li-ion battery, which means that we are currently in the middle of the most MAH as possible without the thickening of the devices.
According to China’s new rumor, this will continue this year. And, towards the end of the year, when Chinese companies introduce their upcoming pay -Generation flagships, powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9500 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, the baseline battery capacity for the top of the line device will be 7,000 mAh.

It’s about 1000 mah than baseline on about 6,000 mah last year, and of course it is very welcome news in our book. Moreover, some flagships indeed, 500 MAH. When the central -rankers will reach the 000,3 mAh too, I can in fact launch the phone with such a large battery in less than a week.
Even so, back to Chinese flagships at the end of 2025: all of them are expected to charged 100W wired charging with 7,000-7,500 mAh batteries, as well as 50W to 80W wireless charging. All of this is the amount of revolution that we all expect worryingly, and therefore there is a possibility of an issue for everyone, including the most demanding users in battery life.
That is, of course, if you buy Chinese flagship smartphones or mid-rangers. Samsung, Apple Pal and Google seem to have completely missed the silicone battery train for at least now.
