Nintendo Switch 2 Specs revealed, Available on 5 June – Jankari Express

Nintendo has finally released all the details of his next switch 2 console. The updated model is completely rebuilt with ground up and improves on every aspect of its predecessor.

Starting with the design, the switch is 2 overall, which is 271.8 mm wide and 114.3 mm. However, it remains equal to 13.9 mm in thickness. The entire unit with controllers weighs 399g. The back side in the new design is a very large kickstand that allows a very large range of movement. There are also two USB-C ports, one on top and one bottom.

Switch 2 comes with new and modified joy-con 2. This does not have the original red and blue color scheme of the original Joy-Con and instead only uses the color as highlights while mainly black. The Joy-Con 2 uses a strong magnet instead of a rail system to connect to the console. They also have large SL/SR buttons to make them more comfortable when using a single controller at a time. Analog sticks are also large.

The biggest new feature of Joy-Con 2 is that they can use them as a mouse individually or together. This enables additional functionality in games, where the game supports this feature until you can use one or both controllers as a mouse. Nintendo showed the existing switch titles with additional mouse support as well as new titles that depend on the use of Joy-Con 2 in mouse mode.

There is a new display in switch 2. It is 7.9-inch in size and has an increasing resolution of 1920×1080. The refreshing rate has been bumped up to 120 Hz and is also support for VRR. Unfortunately, this is still an LCD panel, which adds HDR 10 support underwelling. Considering the original switch, there will be no OLED model in the future, which has a separate OLED version in the future.

Switch 2 has also improved video out support for the new dock. It can now output up to 120 Hz up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz or 1080p or 1440P resolution. There are also HDR 10 outputs, which will be more meaningful here, especially if you have OLED television. Active cooling is also provided in the new dock, so it can keep the switch 2 from throttling under the load.

The switch 2 is improved Audio Dio. Built-in speakers have been upgraded and will also have 3D Audio Dio support when using speakers or headphones in compatible games. Dock users have their TV or AV. The receiver will also get 5.1 PCM Audio Dio output.

There is 256 GB of storage as standard with a faster motion compared to the switch in switch 2. It also supports up to 2 TB microSD cards but this time they should be express cards because the standard microSD cards used by the switch are not fast enough. The console has Wi-Fi 6 connectivity as well as Bluetooth. You can also connect using Ethernet via dock. The battery capacity is 5220 mAh but no official battery life figures.

The only part of the speck that remains unknown is chipset. We know that it runs on the NVIDIA processor but the specific model and specifications remain a mystery and will remain the same as long as people do not take their hands on the unit.

On the Software Fatware side, switch 2 includes a new gamechat feature. Using the Joy-Con 2 and the C button dedicated to the built-in mic, you can now chat when you play with your friends. You will see their gameplay footage on your screen, if you should choose to do so and you can also connect the new Nintendo switch 2 camera accessory (sold separately) to see each other. The GameChat will be free until March 31, 2026 and then Nintendo Switch will require online membership.

Switch 2 switch 2 will be able to play special titles as well as most switch titles.
