The OnePlus ACE5 and S5 Pro have been in the smartphone market for almost half of the year, but now the company refreshes the series with two more models – ACE 5 racing and ACE 5 Ultra.
This is completely different in new smartphone specs and design, but flagship display at the price of sub -flagship – keep the overall tone of the lineup.
OnePlus ACE 5 Ultra
The ultra name is literally translated as “Supreme” and technically the most powerful MediaTech is a OnePlus smartphone-it comes with dimeness 9400+. Here, we have a 6.83 “OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a slightly higher resolution than Full HD+.
The chipset is connected to 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage. They are divided into five different memory compounds to cover a large price spectrum.
OnePlus ACE5 Ultra has a modest camera setup: F/1.8 lens, 50MP main shooter with lens, AF and OIS, connected to an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter with 112-degree FOV. The front camera is a basic 16MP shooter sitting behind the punch hole.
The phone comes with a dedicated side button that can be programmed to act as a predetermined set of applications – alarm, torch, night mode, translator or AI.
OnePls has equipped the Ultra with a G1 connectivity chip that, compared to competitors, improve Wi-Fi motion and reliability by 33%. It also has a multi-layered cooling architecture with 7,300 square mm steam chambers.
The OnePlus ACE5 Ultra Battery has a capacity of 6,700 mAh. It comes with 100W wired charging support and also offers bypass charging. The charger should offer 3 hours of gaming in just 10 minutes, while 39 minutes battery should be filled 0 to 100%.
OnePlus ACE 5 Ultra
OnePlus comes with Oppo Colos 15 and In-House AI Assistant in China, which is only available in the domestic market. Its colors are blue, black and titanium silver (with a cool striped design on the back), and the starting price is CNY 2,499 (12/256 GB). The most expensive version is 16GB RAM + 1 TB storage and costs CNY 3,799.
OnePlus S5 Racing
The OnePlus ACE 5 comes with racing dementia 9400e chipset. It has the same RAM and storage options as ultra, with 1 TB variant.
The rear camera is downgraded to 50MP Main and 2MP B&W sensors. The selfie camera retains its 16 MP sensor.
ACE 5 Racing 6.77 “is built around the AMOLED panel with full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
OnePls decided not to go with a dedicated G1 connectivity chip but brought at least one sophisticated cooling solution (though not as good as the ultra), including a 7,000 square mm steam chamber.
The ACE 5 racing is best on ultra with battery capacity – it brings the largest cell to the OnePlus smartphone – 7,100 mAh. It charges “only” 80 W and comes with bypass charging.
This phone runs with Colos 15 and some AI features, such as upscaling 4K in videos and erasing objects in photos.
OnePlus S5 Racing
The OnePlus ACE 5 Racing is available in white, black and mint green. The starting price is CNY 1,799 for 12/256 GB.
We do not expect this phone to start out of China, but we will be surprised by the OnePlus and Oppo.
