OnePlus begins to make tablets in India – Jankari Express

OnePlus will start making its tablets in India, attributing a newly announced partnership with Bhagwati Products Limited (BPL), a specialist company in electronics manufacturing. OnePlus tablets will be made at a BPL plant in Greater Noida.

Initially, the Indian factory will produce the OnePlus Pad 3 and OnePlus Pad Lights. OnePlus tablets have been made in India for the first time, though smartphones have been made in the country for a while, and recently the OnePlus also started making accessories in India, with bullets wireless Z3.

The step of switching more assembly of its products to India is also set up with the OnePlus’ project starlight initiative, which is focused on enclosing local integration and production capabilities.

OnePlus India CEO Robin Liu said:
