Oppo recently announced its Find X9 series in China and while we await their global launch, Oppo has announced a new partnership with Google that will introduce some new AI features on the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro.
This includes Oppo’s Mind Space app, which will be able to connect to Google Gemini. Users will be able to save on-screen content via a three-finger swipe gesture and Gemini AI will then act on the saved information.
Oppo flagships running ColorOS 16 will also get enhanced Gemini integration with first-party Oppo apps and Nano Banana AI image editing. Find X9 users are also getting AI search, AI call summary, AI recorder and AI writer features.
Find X9 users will also get real-time Gemini Live assistance with visual guidance directly on the phone’s screen. All the new AI features will be built on Oppo’s AI private computing cloud with Google Cloud protection. Oppo has also confirmed that buyers of the Find X9 will be eligible for a free 3-month Google AI Pro subscription.
