Our Realme 14 Pro+ review is a work in progress, but we’ve finished testing its battery life, so we thought we’d share the results with you while you wait for the full review.
The Realm 14 Pro+ is powered by a Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 SoC, runs Android 15-based Realm UI 6.0 out of the box, and packs a 6,000mAh C/C battery under the hood with 80W charging support. Its predecessor, the Realme 13 Pro+, had a Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 chip at the helm and packed a 5,200mAh cell.
With a bigger battery, one would expect the Realm 14 Pro+ to have better endurance than its predecessor, but that’s not the case. While the Realme 13 Pro+ achieved an active usage score of 13:39h in our battery tests, the Realme 14 Pro+ only managed 9:53h.
Region 13 Pro+
It’s even worse than the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ global model, which has the same processor but a smaller battery (5,110 mAh). It has an active usage score of 10:40h. The biggest difference in battery performance of Realme 13 Pro+ and Realme 14 Pro+ is in call runtime: 34: 29 h vs. 22: 03 h.
