Poko has launched a new budget smartphone in India called Poko M7 Plus 5G. It is the latest M Series phone and succeeds M6 Plus, which was debuted on August 2024.
Poko M7 plus 33W has a 7,000 mah silicon-carbon battery with support for charging and 18 W reverse charging. In line with the recent trend of brands related to “slimmest” phones in the special category, POCO claims that the M7 Plus is the thinest handset with a 7,000mAh battery, which is only 8.4 mm.
Poka’s new M Series phone has a 6.9-inch full HD+ LCD that refreshes at 144 Hz. It has 550 net peak brightness, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Corning. The exhibition has a punch-hole cutout for 8MP front camera.
The M7 Plus is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 6S General 3 SOC, connected to 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Thanks, the phone receives a microSD slot for storage expansion up to 2 TB.
It has a dual rear camera setup with 50MP primary sensor and a second unknown secondary unit. You get some AI features such as AI Dynamic Shot, AI Eraser and AI Sky Replacement. The phone runs Android 15-based Hyper OS and promises to receive two-year OS updates with four-year security patches. Google Gemini also offers on the Poko device.
POCO M7 Plus 5G IP 64 rating, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IR blaster and weighs 217G. It is available for the purchase of Aqua Blue, Carbon Black and Chrome in India in silver colors. Prices for 6GB/128GB model start at INR 13,999 ($ 160), while 8 GB/128 GB variant costs inR 14,999 ($ 170). The phone will be sold in India from August 19.
