Redmi launched Note 14 Pro+ back in China in September, and so apparently the brand worked hard on its successor. Today, some of the first details about the next Redmi Note 15 Pro+ have been leaked, so let’s take a look.
The phone is asked to play a screen with “1.5K” resolution and thin symmetric bepy on all sides, 50 MP’s main camera, 50MP telephoto camera and battery capacity between 7,000 mAh and 7,999 mAh.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will be allegedly powered by the Snapdragon 7S General 4 chipset, which makes a full sense of the fact that the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is using its predecessor, Snapdragon 7S General 3.
Therefore, compared to last year’s handset, the new one will get the same screen resolution, and the same resolution for both the main and telephoto cameras, but a new SOC and much larger batteries. It is yet to be seen if these upgrades will be sufficient.
Note that the model we are comparing here is the Chinese (and Indian) Redmi Note 14 Pro+, not the international one – Redmi sometimes chooses to start different devices under the same name in different markets, though in this case the differences are not many.
