Xiaomi hosted a big event this week where we saw the onset of many new devices, including the Redmi Pad 2 Pro. We tested the Pad 2 Pro with a matte glass screen, and this is our first impression.

For the 80 380 tablet, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Mat Glass version looks like and looks like a more expensive device. It brings an aluminum unibody, which is cool to the touch, and at 610 grams, it has a slight haft, but not badly. It really looks lighter than you expect from this size tablet, and it is quite thin at 7.5 mm.

The 12.1 -inch IPS LCD has a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,600 x 2,560 PX resolution with a tall scourge 16:10 aspect ratio. The panel is rated peak brightness up to 600 knits, which is not a high in comparison to the more expensive tablets, but it seemed appropriate when we tested inside his house.

The Matt textured screen was great for reflection on the bay, which is always important on large screens. The panel is flanked by quad speakers with Dolby Atomus support, which produces the right volume.

Going around the device, we have a power button and two out of four speakers and top. Unfortunately, there is no fingerprint scanner embedded in the Power button, which is a fantastic disregard that for some reason infest many of the recently launched Android pills.

On the right is the volume rocker and microSD card slot, while the bottom has two more speakers, USB-C ports, and there is also room for a good old 3.5mm headphone jack.

Ziomi Pad 2 Pro is offering many first-party accessories, including flip cover, keyboard case and 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity levels, including keyboard case and Redmi smart pen stylus. The cover and keyboard are dedicated to the stylus, which is nice for the time when you are on the go.

When we are on the subject, the 12,000mAh battery of Pad 2 Pro, along with Snapdragon 7S General 4, should be delivered on running time. You also get 33W wired charging, which is not the fastest, but it is still better than some competitors offer.

Talking about the operation, Pad 2 Pro found our initial tests to feel simple and responsive. Simple tasks, such as web browsing with continuous switching between multiple ts, media playback and multitasking, felt great for all. We will be sure to provide more details about its continuous performance and benchmark in our entire review. A quick word on the Software Fatware side – we are playing Hypeos 2 on the basis of Android 15, though the update of Hyperos 3 is coming soon.
