The Samsung display K-Display will launch a new foldable display brand in 2025, a new technology industry exhibition that opens the door on August 7 (Thursday). The brand is called “Mont Flex”.

Here’s how Samsung explains it. “M” means mechanical durability, “o” for the pte-mechanical flat, “N” for narrow bezels and “t” for thin and lightweight design.

More detail, M highlights innovations like shock-resistant structures that could withstand the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 displays 500,000 times the cycle. O highly illuminates the work to make the crease less visible. The narrow bezel gives you more screen field. After all, the whole industry is striving for thin and mild foldables and slimming the display helps to do it.

“Mont” is also French for “mountain”, which is intentional – Samsung says it represents the peak of foldable innovation.
