Samsung’s most demanding midranger, Samsung Galaxy A56, is here, and many of you are amazed at how much better it is compared to its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy A55. However, if you are reading this from the US, you have no choice but to get the Galaxy A56 because the A55 was never available in the lake.

Size comparison
There are no major design changes, but one can argue that the Galaxy A56 is more pure. For example, compared to a 6.6-inch panel at A55, the device’s 6.7-inch display is slightly larger, but it comes in almost the same dimensions. It is only a millimeter ler, but significantly lighter.

Camera comparison
The Galaxy depends on the same camera hardware in the A56 and A55 rear. They have a 50MP main shooter joined by 12MP ultravide camera and dedicated 5MP macro snaper.
Speaking of selfies, despite the low resolution of the A55’s 32MP sensors, the A56 receives a new, better 12MP sensor.

The quality of the image
Given the stability from the primary camera, it is safe to say that there is virtually no difference in the overall quality. Randition is also very similar and we could not find the meaningful difference in daylight and at night views.

The only difference we could find is in exposure. The A55 comes in more balanced contact with the more natural looking shadows at night, while the highlights of the A56 are a little brighter during the day as well as the shadows in the pictures at night.
2x zoom photos are very similar again, but the A56 pulls forward with a cleaner and sharp -looking stable during the day. However at night the quality is very similar.

Video quality

Video recording is the same. On the other hand, the video usually looks better at A56 at night. It’s sharp, more detailed, but with a little more pale colors than A55.

Judgment
As you can see, at least, the upgrade above the A55 of the Galaxy A56 is normal. Therefore, it is not surprising that people find it difficult to save a few bucks and get old A55 instead, or just to go for the latest and great.
For the Price Premium of the Galaxy A56, you will find a little more refined design, better chipset, modest faster charging, better tuning speakers, Better Selfies, Low-Light Video and two additional years Software Fatware Support (6 vs 4 main OS updates).
On the other hand, last year’s Galaxy provides 55, approximately the same camera experience, long battery life, and has a microSD card slot.
So if you live in the market where the difference between the two is small (like the EU), it makes all sense to go for a new model. However, if you already have a Galaxy A55 or a major gap between the two models in your market, we suggest that you stick with the A55 or wait a bit more until the A56 prices inevitably come down.
