Samsung most likely announces the Galaxy S25 models on January 22, and they could go on sale as early as February. The S25 devices are now rumored to come with a very interesting perk: free access to Google’s Gemini Advanced.
This is the paid subscription version of Google’s AI, and it normally costs you $19.99 per month (but you also get 2TB of Google Drive storage). Samsung, however, will include the Gemini Advance with your S25 purchase, a new report claims.
The information reportedly comes from code in the latest Google app for Android. According to this, Galaxy S25 buyers will likely get three months of free access to Gemini Advanced, those who get the S25+ will get six months of access, and those who opt for the S25 Ultra will get a whole year of Gemini Advanced for free, which actually sounds like a pretty good deal.
Of course, none of this is official – it’s just a few strings of code inside the app for now. But the code needs to be in the Google app before the launch of the S25 family if that’s to happen, and so the timeline fits pretty well – we’d be surprised if it didn’t pan out.
