The leaked firmware files reveal that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will launch with the successor of Snapdragon 8 Allight next year and send with an UI 8.5 on the basis of Android 16 outside of B.
This seems to correspond to the recent report by Snow Shift in Samsung’s Software Fatware update strategy that gives the latest UI repeat to foldables and polish for the Galaxy S series.
The firmware file has been found on Samsung’s server, which means that the tech giant is already working on developing an UI 8.5 for its future S26 lineup.
The firmware reads PMK 8850 The serial number, which refers to the flagship chipset of the potential Qualcomm’s upcoming Pay Generation. Given that S2 Ultra ships with Snapdragon 8 Allight, which also refer to 8750 In its own firmware, it is probably safe to assume that S26 will continue to use the Ultra Qualcomm chip.
This does not mean that all three Galaxy S phones will be powered by Snapdragon. The S26+ and Vanilla S26 will feature a potential company’s upcoming exemption 2600 SOC, promising a solid CPU and GPU exhibition.
