It’s either time to upgrade or a generally time to try a foldable life. Either way, this year’s Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 may seem like a promising forward step, but the EP Bhub Tag Tags can think twice and will instead consider the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.

New Z Fold 7 is a few hundred rupees in some regions, which is a significant amount. Nevertheless, it has been the largest pay generation upgrade found by Z Fold Lineup in recent years. It offers a more pure, lightweight and compact design, better performance, larger screens and upgraded camera setup.

On the other hand, Z Fold 6 is quite cheaper (in most markets) and the fact that Samsung offers extended Software Fatware Support that also helps the case related to its devices for years. It also has the benefit of providing S PAN support, which Samsung has decided to exclude the new model.

It will be a hot fight in the area between the two, so let’s move on with it.

Table of contents:

For beginners, you can compare the full specs sheets or continue directly with the assessment of our editor In the following text.

Size comparison

The most notable upgrade with this year’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a more pure design. It is now similar to competition in terms of weight and portability, which means it is a significant upgrade on Z Fold 6.

The new fold is about 24 grams lighter than its predecessor and 3.2 mm thin. It doesn’t make much noise, but the difference in the real world is night and day. Z Fold 7 is now weighed and is as thin as some flagships with traditional form factors. It looks like a completely different phone than Z Fold 6.

On the other hand, the Z fold is narrow and short last year, but with small interior and external screens.

Comparison

We have already touched the performance size in the previous section. The only real-world difference between the two foldables is the screen diagonal and aspect ratio. The new Z fold provides significantly large internal screen and slightly larger exterior. In addition, the aspect ratio on the outer screen looks more natural as it is closer to the standard smartphone.

We also got some difference in the brightness. It turns out that both displays of Galaxy Z Fold 6 are approximately 200 NITS bright (~ 1,400 NIT vs. 1,600 NITS), but you should not make any decision based on this metric alone. There are 200 NITS gaps in the real world, as the 1,400 NIT of Z Fold 7 is also exactly exactly on a bright sunny day.

It is also important to note that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 no longer supports S Pen input, unlike Z Fold 6, where you can find a case that hallsters do the stylus so you always have it in hand.

B Battery Terry Life

Despite the thin chassis, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 retains a 4,400mAh battery from its predecessor. However, some of our test scenes have led to a slightly different battery endurance as a result of the change in screen diagonal and chipset.

Possibly due to the big screens, the Z Fold 7 scores in the web browsing test are worse, but due to the 4G Call L and a significantly better efficient chipset in gaming scenes.

Overall, overall difference Score active use It is rather negligible and you are not likely to see a significant real-world difference between the two.

Preaching

Both handsets support fast charging up to 25 W using Samsung’s PPS-enabled power delivery chargers, and the same battery is given, it is not surprising that there is no difference in charging time. Both devices may charge in less than 0 to 100% An hour.

Chair

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 speakers look like a downgrade of previous pay generation. They are quiet, probably due to the small speaker cavity, and even crisp. We also like the more clear mids and clear singers of Z Fold 6.

Operation

As usually, the latest Galaxy Phone plays the latest flagship chipset in the market, so it is not surprising to show the Galaxy Z Fold 7 showing a more powerful SOC than its predecessor. But at this time, the difference of performance is quite significant.

Snapdragon 8 General 3 to Snapdragon 8 elite is not trivial. The latter offers significant high operations and better functionality.

However, there is hardly any change in the memory department. Both devices provide the same base storage and memory. However, 1 TB Z Fold 7 version 16GB RAM, 1 TB/12GB Top Z Fold 6 configuration.

Benchmar

As expected, the Z Fold 7 Z shows the best performance on Fold 6. The new foldable Snapdragon 8 outperforms 3-General 3-powered Z Fold 6 in 34% pure CPU benchmark tests and 33% in the GPU-Heavy Workload. Talking about a combined Antutu test, it shows a 29% difference.

As we said, the distance of the operation is not trivial.

Camera comparison

The new Galaxy Z Fold 7 replaces 200MP to the old 50MP main sensor with better capabilities. Z Fold 7 Now uses the same main camera as the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Despite some of the past, compared to some of the past, the sensor resolution suggests, we do not expect a big difference to the quality of the image when comparing photos of the main camera of the two devices. The thing is, the output of this sensor has been bined up to 12MP from both phones so that it will be difficult to find a significant change in the resolved detail. Sound, on the other hand, can be better on photos by a high-iS sensor, and even a potential dynamic range.

The Z Fold 7 replaces me with a better 10MP punch-hole in 4MP under-display selfie. It is the same sensor used on an external screen punch-hole camera, but with ultravide lenses. This allows you to fit more in the frame.

Another difference brought by the new MODel Dell is that the ultravide camera has obtained Tofocus capabilities, allowing sharp clause-up macro stills.

The rest of the camera hardware remains the same between two phones – 10MP3x telephoto camera and 10MP external screen selfie.

The following Camera Mera samples have been taken except for one year, at which time two corresponding reviews were prepared.

The quality of the image

As expected, there is hardly any difference between the two main cameras. If we want to choose one, it is surprisingly 6 photos that look sharp, though not constant in every shot.

At night, the ultravide of Z Fold 7 is not so sharp but it is very cleaner with a very sound which is a slightly clear issue with the ultravide of fold 6 so we will take no fold 7 any day.
