You probably connect cinemas to a projector, but there are other Samsung ideas – at the cinemacon, the largest and most important gathering of movie theater owners, the company showed its onyx cinema LED screens.
These come in different sizes: 5th, 10th, 14th and 20th (16 feet, 33 feet, 46 feet and 66 feet). And there are additional scaling options for matching the needs of different movie theaters.
The display offers the top brightness of 300 NITS (86.7 FL), six times brighter than the standard (48 NITS/14FL). Displays video supports up to 4K 120 Hz. For 3D movies, Samsung claims that onyx reduces flickering which is sometimes seen with projector systems.

For Audio Dio, onyx screens have original support for Herman’s JBL Surround Sound Tech (Samsung, so not surprising here), but it can also work with Dolby Atomus, Mayor Sound, QSC and Custom Sound Systems.
