Samsung’s project Mohan, the first headset to operate Android XR, was rumored to begin on September 29. We are almost there, but a new Korea report today claims that the launch has been pushed back on October 21.
If this is accurate, there will be a Launch Naline projection event for the headset that day. It will be available immediately. Samsung is aiming to sell about 100,000 units, but after the introduction of Mohan, the number will be set after confirming the initial demand in the market.

If you are wondering what the cause of the delay is, obviously it is to coordinate with the “interior marketing strategy”, whatever it means. If you were wondering that this would mean that the Mohan Galaxy Z Trifold would be unveiled at the same event, obviously – the company’s first TRI -FOLD smartphone would get a different projection. It will be very October at the end of Catber or in November.
In Korea, Mohan is likely to cost KRW 2 million, which means about 4 1,400. It will make it cheaper than the Vision Pro of Apple Pal but is significantly more expensive than meta’s quest. Mohan’s performance reaches a pixel density of about 3,800 PPIs, which is higher than the Apple Pal Vision Pro. Samsung’s headset uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ General 2 SOC, which is attached to 16 GB RAM.
