In the latest post on the company’s website, Samsung’s Software Fatware Chief Sally revealed some interesting stories about the company’s latest One UI 7.0 Android Overlay. He said that the Korean Tech Giant has been developing an UI 7.0 for the last two to three years. Unfortunately, more sophisticated hardware is needed to operate some features, so some tasks will not be available on the old Galaxy Phones.
One of those features is now short. It shows relevant information based on the time of the day and helps you keep your schedule on. However, to operate, the brief now depends on Samsung’s personal data engine, which requires a serious number of crunching through a powerful NPU. It’s because it is not a cloud-based functionality.
On the other hand, the circle to find the feature mostly requires cloud resources, so older and budget-friendly devices can support it.
The interview clearly does not specify other features, probably because Samsung is still working on bringing as many people as possible. Only time will tell which will be specific to recent flagships.
